Milk Education are working with a Primary school in Camberley.
They are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 and KS2 classes. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is to support both students and the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the KS1 and KS2 children working on a one-to-one basis and in a group capacity as and when required.
The hours of work are 08:30am- 16:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. This role is to start ASAP and will be a long-term position.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with various tasks, including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is being completed to a good standard. You will be responsible for preparing resources for the day and ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Supporting with Learning and Development
2. Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
3. Encouraging, Supporting, and De-escalating students
4. Being involved across the curriculum, including outdoor learning, PE, and Core subjects
