Vattenfall Heat Projects develops and realises all of Vattenfall's new-build heating plant projects in conventional and new technologies. The Engineering Department consists of an international team of highly qualified engineers from different disciplines and is responsible for the development and execution of the technical project stream. A selected project team of engineers manage the technical solution development, execution processes and coordinates the installation, commissioning and hand-over of the new plant to the future operator, in consultation with all stakeholders. In addition, the Engineering Department supports projects with schedule preparation, investment cost estimation, quality management and quality standards. In order to support the development and implementation of our technical activities, in an extensive project portfolio, we are looking for the following new team member for Vattenfall. What will you do? As an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, your tasks are varied and crucial to the success of a project. Here are the key responsibilities: Oversee all Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) activities throughout a project lifecycle; spanning development, establishment, and realisation phases. Coordinate engineering activities related to I&C, including interfaces with other disciplines. Take responsibility for I&C interfaces and collaborate with other disciplines in project deliverables preparation. Provide technical coordination for I&C solutions, emphasising Distributed Control System, Automation, Communication and Security Systems in power plant-specific tasks. Specify I&C components adhering to international regulations, standards and internal Vattenfall standards. Support various project aspects, including procurement, quality standards applicability and stakeholder management, reporting to project engineering managers and the Line Manager - Discipline Engineering.
