About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Communication & Interaction: Excellent communication skills, including with teachers, children, and young individuals. Active listening skills and the ability to foster an encouraging learning environment. Knowledge & Expertise: Deep understanding of curriculum content and lessons required for pupil learning. Expertise in managing a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). Committed to Safeguarding practices. Classroom & Behaviour Management: High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour, with strong behaviour management skills. Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice, focusing on children's needs. Skills & Attributes: Excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Proficient in using computers and hand-devices.
