A leading Global FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join their team.
This role will require a Chemical, Packaging, Food, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics Manufacturing background.

The Engineering Manager will lead the Engineering team and contractors to carry out effective maintenance of site equipment, machinery and building and to lead Capex and Opex projects by adhering to company safety standards
Engineering Manager responsibilities include:
1. Planning and Scheduling maintenance works
2. Developing Maintenance strategy for the site to ensure machine and equipment availability
3. Driving and managing the maintenance KPIs (Downtime, PPM and Budget)
4. Organising the Maintenance training requirement in line with regulation and business needs
5. Developing and managing of the maintenance standard and safe system of work
6. Maintenance of the Site Facilities and Building
7. Robust Contractors control by following guidelines of Induction, RA and Method Statements
8. Manage Capital Investment projects independently considering Planning, Execution, Permits, Method Statements, Safety Practices
9. Support site manager to implement Opex related projects
10. Make sure service agreements in place for site cleaning and Hygiene
11. Control the Engineering Budget and work on cost saving ideas
12. Effective Negotiations with NPR suppliers to achieve required cost saving.
13. Adhere to site permits and run effective LOTO system
You will be an Engineering Manager, ideally HNC equivalent qualified used to leading a team in a fast paced Manufacturing environment. Mechanical, process or Chemical engineering experience will be deemed advantageous.
Knowledge of Rotating Equipment Stationary Equipment Vessels, Tanks and Hoppers. IOSH or Nebosh Safety Certificate, DSEAR and Confined Space Management experience would be highly advantageous.
