Job Title: Personal Assistant (Temporary)\n\nContract Type: Temporary\n\nHourly Rate: £15.23\n\nStart Date: 28 March 2025 (preferred - pending security clearance which may take longer)\n\nContract Length: 6 months - able to apply permanently when role is available. \n\nWorking Pattern: Full Time (Hybrid - 2 days pw in London office - Embankment/Charing Cross)\n\nOverview:\n\nOur client, a distinguished government organisation focusing on serious and complex financial crime, is seeking a resourceful and proactive Personal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to support senior leadership within the organisation, providing essential administrative assistance and ensuring smooth operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide comprehensive executive support to the Head of Division (Casework) and Head of IT (Enabling).\nManage calendars and inboxes, ensuring effective prioritisation of tasks and timely responses.\nScreen and manage incoming correspondence and telephone inquiries.\nOrganise travel and accommodation arrangements, providing all necessary details for the Heads of Division.\nArrange and attend meetings, ensuring all materials are prepared, and take minutes as needed.\nDraught documents, briefing materials, reports, and presentations.\nAssist in the induction process for new staff within the division.\nCollaborate with colleagues and support senior managers in various tasks as required.Person Specification:\n\nEssential Criteria:\n\nProven experience providing executive support to senior management, including full diary management.\nStrong organisational skills with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently.\nExperience handling confidential information with discretion.\nCompetence in producing meeting agendas and taking minutes.Desirable Criteria:\n\nPrevious experience in a similar role within a law enforcement or government context.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Word and strong typing skills.Behaviours:\n\nWorking Together\nManaging a Quality Service\nCommunicating and Influencing\nDelivering at PaceAdditional Information:\n\nThis role offers informal hybrid and flexible working arrangements, coordinated with the line manager.\nSupport will be available, ensuring you are not left to manage tasks alone.
