Job Description
This is an exciting time to join United Living on our Graduate Programme as the business continues to grow and we have a significant order book of secured future projects.
We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services business, who deliver critical resilient infrastructure that improves daily life by partnering with our clients to achieve sustainable outcomes for their customers and communities. You will join the Major Projects team who are responsible for delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK supporting the governments Net Zero transition targets.
Our graduate programme lasts for two years, and you will have a tailored development pathway aligned to your discipline. You will attend virtual and in-person events across the two years to enable you to develop and hone your business and leadership skills, in addition to your technical skills through working towards professional accreditation.
You will also join our wider population on activities such as our annual innovation challenge and volunteering and STEM engagement activities, and have access to a professional mentor to aid your technical development and a buddy who can help answering any questions you have when you are settling into your role.
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have:
* Recently achieved, or on track to graduate in Summer 2025 with, a minimum 2.2 Bachelor's degree in a mechanical discipline
* Available to start work in September 2025
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your development programme
