The Talent Development team have a fantastic role available and are looking for an individual to join their growing team.
As the Senior Talent Development Advisor, you will be a trusted point of contact for the Talent Development Team, Department managers and other stakeholders also promoting the forces plan on a page and people strategy by creating and delivering a suite of products, resources, and interventions to help deliver the organisations vision for the Talent Development and Performance Management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the effective functioning and delivery of key Talent Development projects and strategies, keeping stakeholder management at the forefront.
* Deliver the Performance Management Cycle within the force, highlighting the importance of employee development and performance.
* Act as an internal advisor and work with the wider Talent Development team to assist in developing frameworks and strategies to land organisational initiatives and products with our people.
* Be a visible role model, consistently demonstrating professional principles, personal integrity and promoting CPD.
* Take ownership of the running and effective functioning of Force coaching and mentoring networks.
* Understand the organisations’ cultural ambition around professional development, talent management, leadership, DEI, and organisational expectations at an individual and local level.
* Evaluate current activity and offer improvements to enable long term and sustainable change, considering Force strategies and policies.
What the role requires:
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* CIPD Level 5, or equivalent level of expertise gained through experience.
* Detailed knowledge of Diversity, Equality & Inclusion legislation.
* Experience in an advisory capacity related to people development.
* Networks inside and outside of the organisation with fellow practitioners and key contacts to exchange ideas and use these to problem solve and create effective solutions/activities.
* Ability to prioritise workload.

Pre – Employment Checks and Eligibility:
