Technical Services Manager (093jc) – Twyford, Berkshire – up to £45k Benefits My client is an innovative IT services organisation, which is 100% dedicated to Networking, Server, storage and Workplace Technologies are now seeking to recruit a Technical Services Manager to join their team in their HQ DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY. You will be reporting to the RMA Manager and Director of Operations and in this role, you will be responsible for making sure all warehouse and repair services are managed efficiently and all processes documented and to produce any new process/procedural documents required. Your main responsibilities will include: The role is responsible for achieving excellent customer satisfaction by delivering timely returns, dispatch, repair information and contract support for services provided by the company and will undertake the following key tasks: Use technical knowledge to manage support calls and support bid management. Allocation and dispatch of stock. Monitoring and updating external customer systems. Managing returns and updating Proof of Delivery (POD) information on companies’ incident management system (service now). Triage of returned parts. Maintain tools and test equipment within the department. To perform tests and diagnostics on a range of network and IT equipment. To develop and put in place training plans, conducting any appraisals in a timely manner. Engagement in projects requiring specific stock management, warranty and returns via the RMA process. Team Management To be eligible for this role you will need the following skills and experience: Analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution to solve problems. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent IT literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office products and other internal systems. Ability to prioritise a busy workload. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards even when under pressure Experience in a similar role would also be of benefit. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a technical stores/repairs background and who is looking to join a company that has clear progression plan in place, as they foresee this individual stepping up into a more senior role within a couple of years. They are also looking for someone who is able to look at their current department and team and try and find ways to improve the day to day operation and reporting within the department as they company has expanded significantly over the last few years and they are seeking understand this team and how it plays a key part in the company as a whole.
