We’re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ITU) at The Harborne Hospital, our 4th NHS Joint Venture. Purpose built with both patients and colleagues in mind The Harborne Hospital is a 50 bed, multi-speciality, private hospital which combines deep clinical infrastructure with the exceptional technology and modern facilities HCA Healthcare UK (HCA UK) is known for. Our wide range of expertise allows us to deliver full clinical pathways at all levels of complexity across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery.
As a Senior Staff Nurse on our ITU unit, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. We’ll look to you as an expert in your field to support and mentor the wider team, using your in-depth clinical knowledge to guide and support them while also stepping up and leading the unit the absence of the Ward Manager. It’s a varied role, one day you could be providing bespoke, complex care to a patient, the next overseeing the operation of the six bedded unit.
