Yorkshire Water Contract – Lanes / SUS – Area, Region
We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!
We are currently recruiting for Support Driver to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.
Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions
About the Role
As a Support Driver, you will:
1. Maintain great customer service and communication
2. Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
3. Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet
4. Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work
5. Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
6. Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
7. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
8. Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
9. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
10. Wear and maintain in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bring to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment
Experience and Qualifications (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)
* Full UK driving license (Required)
* NPORS
* Banksman
* Manual Handling
* Emergency First Aid
* NRSWA
* EUSR National Water Hygiene
* Asbestos Awareness
* CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
* Slinger and Signaller
* Abrasive Wheels
Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
