Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team for the Summer Term. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry education and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young minds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
* Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student learning and understanding.
* Assess student progress through regular evaluations and feedback, and provide additional support where necessary.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the chemistry curriculum and enrichment activities.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and academic success.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
* Previous experience teaching chemistry at the secondary level.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time temporary position for the duration of the Summer Term, with the possibility of extension. The start date is 15th April. The salary offered will be in the range of £153 - £240 per day, depending on experience.
