Functional Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist is responsible for overseeing and maintaining user access to IT systems within an organization. The role ensures that proper protocols are in place to authenticate and authorize users, thereby safeguarding critical information. This position involves implementing IAM policies, managing user roles, and ensuring compliance with security regulations.
Key Deliverables
1. Lead the road to unify a global Identity strategy across all the apps and including both organizations (Atradius + CyC)
2. Develop, and improve IAM policies and procedures to ensure secure access to systems and data.
3. Monitor, review, and audit access logs to ensure compliance with security policies.
4. Find and resolve access-related issues, troubleshooting identity and access management systems and ensure the access if following security policies.
5. Close collaboration with Security Architect to improve any security aspect related to access.
6. Creation and development of “Business Idea Documents” to propose improvements affecting access.
7. Collaborate with IT & Business teams to ensure appropriate levels of access control.
8. Maintain role-based access control (RBAC) policies and ensure compliance with industry standards both on-premises and cloud environments.
9. Validate multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions for enhanced security when possible.
10. Stay updated on emerging trends in IAM technology and security protocols.
11. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as DORA, ISO27001.
12. Relevant Information Security and Information Technology Certification. Applications able to prove this ability and knowledge, but lacking the relevant certifications will be considered negatively (CISSP, CIAM, CISM, CompTIA certifications, others)
13. Familiarity related to the following technical solutions but not limited: CyberArk, Oracle OIDM. Microsoft ENTRA ID (Azure AD) and AD and LDAP IBM.
14. Although there is no routine “on call” part to the role, you will on occasion have to be availability of hours, including at weekends, to support project, go-live and any incidents with IAM implications.
