Site Manager, Yorkshire with M&E experience

The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a talented Site Manager / M&E Package Manager to join an outstanding and award-winning Yorkshire construction business initially on a luxury high rise residential project in central Leeds.
Reporting to the Senior Site Manager and Project Director, you will provide additional management support focussing on the supervision of the M&E package to ensure that it meets the programme, cost, health and safety and quality objectives of the Project Plan.
Role Requirements
Ensure areas of responsibility on the project are delivered on programme to the agreed quality.
Ensure risks are identified and mitigation measures are put in place.
Ensure the construction budget and costs are managed effectively for their section of the building works.
Ensure construction programmes are in place and achieved.

Carry out weekly progress meetings and record them, ensuring all actions are carried out.
Through daily, weekly and four weekly look aheads, co-ordinate and manage the interface of all sub-contractors.
For MEP package supervision responsibility, witness test commission activities.
Ensure all sub-contractors have a Quality Plan and are implementing it.
Inspect the works to ensure they conform to plans, specifications and drawings.
Conduct regular reviews of drawings/document control on site, ensuring only construction issue drawings are in use in the field.
Manage and ensure compliance to all company Safety, Health and Environment Systems, including documentation.
Undertake Company projects as required and maintain at all times up-to-date knowledge on changes and developments relevant to the role.
Share best practice and promote continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure compliance and adherence with all Company policies, procedures, processes and tools applicable to role.
Required/Desired Experience and Qualifications
* Ideally a degree in appropriate discipline or a Postgraduate Diploma
* A minimum of an HNC or equivalent vocational experience.
* Understanding of building regulations associated with MEP installation.
* Qualified and good knowledge to BS(Apply online only) amendment 2.
* Experience of commissioning MEP systems.
* Experience in a similar role, or direct project management of MEP installation.
