Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our cardiology nursing team here at the Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT). Our nurses benefit from a number of educational programs, including in-house ECG interpretation training. There are numerous career path opportunities such as our band 6 nurse practitioner roles. We are committed to the career development of our nurses and will assist you in developing your career in a highly specialized clinical area.
We are a Regional Cardiac Centre providing extensive cardiac services: Angioplasty, Angiography, Device implantation, Transplant assessments, unstable angina, Heart failure, Rhythm disturbances, and complex cardiac problems requiring interventional procedures. Additionally, we deliver a Primary Angioplasty Service for Acute MI patients in the North West of England and have developed a Trans-catheter Aortic Valve Implant program.
