About Us: Teaching Personnel are a supply agency looking for passionate KS1 Teachers that may want to leave their full-time positions for flexible roles or Early Career Teachers who want to gain more experience after completing their PGCE.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to fostering a positive learning environment, and skilled in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for KS1.
2. Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement and learning.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the academic and personal development of pupils.
5. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
6. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
7. Uphold the school’s values, policies, and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Person Specification:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting is desirable but not essential for newly qualified teachers (NQTs).
3. Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
