Legal Officer (DP) Deputy Principal Legal Officer required for a large public sector organisation based through the Northern Ireland Civil Service. Location: Belfast Hours of work: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm (37 hours p/w) Salary: £21.99 p/h Duration: Temporary ongoing In the RHI Policy/Legislation Team under the Business Case and Future Options workstreams, the DP will. Assist with the development and passage of any required primary or secondary legislation. Provide information relating to Judicial Reviews as required. Contribute to discussions and drafting papers in relation to options for the Future of the Scheme. Lead in the drafting of any Executive Papers relating to RHI Legislation. Liaise with and seek advice from DSO as required. Development of Primary and / or Secondary Legislation Assistance with Judicial Reviews Drafting of Executive Papers Drafting in relation to Policy Options Essential: Must be a qualified barrister or solicitor entitled to practise in Northern Ireland or be in a position to become so entitled by the date of appointment.
