If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for two Engineering Team Leaders to join the Packing and Brewing & Processing teams. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
* Leading the implementation of modern maintenance techniques, including Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM), to enhance reliability and minimise unplanned downtime.
* Act as a leadership role model, promoting compliance with HSE, food safety, and hygiene standards, including adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) policies.
* Allocating and managing resources effectively to ensure maintenance plans are achieved, including manpower, spare parts, and tools.
* Develop and maintain a close working relationship with production teams, understanding their needs and priorities to align maintenance activities.
* Facilitate cross-functional teamwork between engineering and production to drive shared accountability for equipment performance and operational goals.
* Monitor and achieve area KPIs, such as unplanned downtime reduction, MTBF, labour utilisation, compliance to plan and spare parts inventory targets.
* Manage the team, performance and development, ensuring a strong performance focus and skills pipeline.
Experience and Key Attributes:
* HND/degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred). Indentured apprenticeship and relevant experience can be considered as equivalent.
* Significant experience in a production environment, with proven leadership experience.
* Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and driving performance improvements.
* Experience managing budgets, spare parts inventory, and third-party contractors.
* Knowledge of process plant and infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and utilities equipment.
* Familiarity with modern maintenance tools and lean manufacturing methodologies, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CBM, 5S, and Kaizen.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
