Job Description Head of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) & Enforcement Initial 3-month interim contract to start asap Central London £46.33 p/h Inside IR35 Full-time (36 hours per week) CVs are being reviewed ASAP and interviews will be taking place ASAP Reporting to the Assistant Director of Stronger & Safer Communities you will be responsible for leading and managing specific Council services, providing professional expertise and delivery of services. Your Role as the Head of ASB & Enforcement : • To ensure the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the Council's ASB and Enforcement Strategies, reflecting best practice. • To provide leadership in inputting crime and enforcement strategies and plans into the council's regional remit. • To keep the council up to date on new legislations, service developments, best practices and benchmarking initiatives. • To provide clear strategic planning and act as the Council’s principal advisor for all services within the Enforcement Portfolio. • To ensure business and budget plans are produced for all functions within the service and ensure they are effectively managed within the approved budgets. Your previous experience as a Head of ASB & Enforcement : • Have substantial proven knowledge and understanding of ASB and Enforcement services within local authorities. • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans across a range of service areas. • Ability to analyse problems in a logical and systematic way, identifying solutions based on an understanding of the underlying issues within the services. • Practical experience in managing an extensive work programme involving multiple stakeholders and across complex organisations, allocating tasks, directing resources to deliver fluid outcomes. • Experience delivering large in-house services, and designing and delivering further services and improvements. • Experience in being responsible for a large staff group and being accountable for the implementation and execution of policy.
