* Professional accountancy qualification to post-graduate diploma level, e.g. managerial or intermediate level CIMA, Part II ACCA, Diploma level CIPFA, or equivalent experience.
Job specific experience

* Experience in Budgetary Control Financial planning and forecasting
* Costing knowledge and experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to people at all levels within the organisation
* Evidence of past achievements and ability to deliver
Desirable criteria
* Corporate awareness
* Knowledge and experience of financial aspects of NHS legislation and NHS finance policies including Foundation Trust regime
