This will be an annex 21 band 6 to 7 training post Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical care and advice to patients with stomas, particularly those undergoing bowel resections, cystectomies, and stoma formation surgeries. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with medical staff, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care. Autonomous Practice: Lead nurse-led clinics and participate in clinical audits to ensure high standards of care. Education and Training: Provide education to patients, staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team, across multiple sites. Patient Support: Offer ongoing support to patients with established stomas and refer them to community services as needed.
