We are a bold, award-winning business that prides itself on empowering our teams with autonomy to operate premium, fun businesses that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment. We run friendly, welcoming, and positive pubs, restaurants, and hotels with high standards, taking a different approach to others and always striving to be the best we can be.
We are looking for a front of house team member to join the family. This role involves delivering exceptional bar and waiting hospitality to our customers.
Located in Rowberrow on the edge of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Swan is a 17th-century Grade II-listed pub and inn, full of history and a cozy, welcoming vibe. It is a haven for locals, walkers, cyclists, and visitors. The recent addition of five boutique bedrooms above the pub and four dog-friendly rooms in converted barns makes The Swan an ideal spot for a rural retreat, family break, or staycation.
We are passionate about great food and drink, offering seasonal local produce, pub classics, freshly baked flatbread pizza, and award-winning Butcombe beer on tap. In warmer months, our large beer garden is perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying some sunshine with a few pints.
Located just 7 miles from Bristol airport and 15 miles from Bristol Temple Meads station, The Swan is a great base for exploring Bristol, Somerset, and the Mendips' walking, cycling, and dog-walking opportunities. Nearby attractions include Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor, and Ashton Gate Stadium.
