Role Purpose: As an Operational Manager, you will lead your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience while working closely with other department leaders and business partners. You will be the main point of contact for all customer operations matters, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and support your team to Be the Best in delivering exceptional service. Foster a culture of collaboration and engagement by working as One Team. Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant working environment. Own the Assisted Travel training and compliance plans, ensuring customers with additional needs receive the best care. Manage Car Park Operations efficiently. Act as a champion for the customer, listening to feedback and making improvements. Drive positive change in the customer journey, making travel easier and stress-free. Maintain high service standards by identifying and resolving issues and recommending improvements. Conduct and complete risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance. Analyse trends in Safety Incident Reports (SIRs) and implement actions accordingly. Actively participate in emergency exercises at the airport. What We’re Looking For: A proven leader with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment (ideally airport-based). Strong knowledge of airport operations (preferred). A passion for delivering the best possible customer experience. Understanding of assisted travel legislation and how it applies to operations. Ability to build strong relationships with third-party partners and drive performance. A commitment to doing the right thing —ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Successful candidates will need to complete a criminal record check and provide a checkable five-year history.
