Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons to primary or secondary school students in accordance with the school's curriculum and guidelines. Engage students in active learning experiences, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their linguistic development. Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the individual learning needs and abilities of diverse students. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop and implement cohesive lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment strategies. Foster a deep appreciation and understanding of the Spanish language and culture through engaging activities and discussions. Establish and maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Requirements Proven experience as a Spanish teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting. Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities. A good understanding of relevant teaching techniques and methodologies. Experience in planning and delivering well-structured lessons that meet the diverse needs of students. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, preferably with a degree in Spanish or a related field.
