Business Development Manager - UK National

Client, Job Role, and Expectations
With 50+ years' experience within the industry, Finstral has developed an enviable reputation as a leading manufacturer and installer of doors and windows and associated products, providing continuous solutions and ongoing support to their client base as a one-stop shop.
The business has achieved strong YOY growth across Europe but is now looking to increase its presence in the UK through its market potential and business strategy. Finstral currently has a turnover of circa €350 Million and is looking to increase this substantially within the UK market. To support and achieve these objectives, Finstral is partnering with Charlesworth Kennedy to appoint several key personnel, one of these being a Business Development Manager. It is anticipated that this will be one of the first steps in developing the wholly owned subsidiary in the UK, including a full team of professionals and customer support.
Key Accountabilities
1. Growing the existing customer base in current and new markets to achieve a sustainable and profitable ongoing business.
2. Driving new business sales, especially with key end users who procure mobile plant equipment such as construction, utilities, and waste management companies.
3. Becoming the go-to person in the UK for product knowledge and support.
4. Promoting and increasing the sales of products both with dealers and key end users.
5. Raising the company profile by attending exhibitions and tradeshows.
6. Creating and implementing strategy for growth.
7. Working closely with the Italian sales & marketing team to maximize & increase sales opportunities.
Candidate Profile
This individual must be self-motivated, creative, a team player able to clearly articulate bespoke solutions to key stakeholders both internally and externally. They will also need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the commercial acumen to understand the needs of both customers and the limitations, logistical and margin/profit requirements of Finstral.
Experience/Qualifications
1. A hunger for and motivated by new business and sales development.
2. A verifiable successful background within sales.
3. Honest, ethical with the desire to be part of a growing organisation.
4. An excellent communicator and comfortable working independently.
5. Experienced and skilled in the key areas of prospecting, presentation, negotiating, closing and client relationship management.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy as well as fully IT literate (Outlook, Word, Excel).
*There will be a full month's training provided in Holland on the product range and software.*
Package / Remuneration
The remuneration package offered at this stage is subject to the experience of the candidate, but will likely include the following:
Basic Salary: Between £40,000 - £50,000
Company car: Car allowance
Additional: Bonus circa £25k, Health, Pension, laptop, mobile phone
