An exciting opportunity is available to join the IM&T Delivery team at the East of England Ambulance Service as a Cloud & Microsoft Suite Specialist. This role is to support and develop the Trusts current Azure infrastructure. This role is key in designing and assisting in the migration of locally hosted business solutions to an Azure\Cloud environment, as well implementing new solutions in line with the IM&T Digital Strategy.

This role is central to the delivery and continuity of Information Technology services across the Trust.
This role will manage the overall technical design for the Trust’s cloud strategy, with the ability to present and demonstrate the Trusts cloud Infrastructure and strategy.
A high degree of autonomy is required in this role to deliver a quality service.
The Cloud Technologies Specialist will be required to apply in-depth knowledge and skills in the fields of emergency services information technology, IT best practice, IT security and service management.
The Cloud Technologies Specialist will play a key role in the development of the Trusts Cloud strategy, and lead in the design for the programme of Cloud infrastructure enabling projects.
The Cloud Technologies Specialist needs to fully understand the technology vision, objectives, deliverables and organisational goals.
This role is key to defining the strategy of the Trusts Cloud technologies strategy with current and future industry standards.
The Cloud Technologies Specialist facilitate the investment appraisal process and the high-level planning and execution of the business initiatives using cloud technology.
