Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Onsite The role The Distribution Control Centre North (DCCN) manages and oversees SHEPD's high voltage system. We are excited to offer a position for a Technical Coordinator to join us in Perth. You will - Be responsible for a wide range of operational duties, including maintenance of the DCCN's network management systems and the upkeep of our HV network schematic. - Manage the setup and launch of primary and secondary remote equipment for safe 24/7 Distribution operations. - Collaborate closely with Control Engineers and regional staff and have the ability to form and sustain productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. - Have the ability to learn new systems quickly, this would be an advantage in this role as we use a range of bespoke software and technical applications. You have - A knowledge of Power Systems, coupled with previous technical experience, and an understanding of SCADA applications would be an advantage however full training will be provided. - An excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise flexible deadlines while maintaining high levels of excellence. - An analytical/methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to work effectively when faced with pressurised situations. - The ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy is essential. Candidates for this role will be required to obtain vetting to SC level through UK Government.
