They now require an Intermediate Level Engineer who can run Environmental and/or Geotechnical investigation sites or remediation projects
Overview of Role
An Environmental Engineer’s main role is to provide on and offsite support to the project team to enable the delivery of the technical and practical elements of a remediation or site investigation project.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements
* Ground investigations – scoping, undertaking, interpretative reporting and review investigations undertaken by others
* Trial pit and borehole soil logging to BS5930:2015
* Ensure the collection and compliant storage of representative soil and water samples;
* Soil, groundwater and ground gas risk assessment
* Remediation Strategy and Verification Report preparation and review
* Earthworks Strategies
* Environmental Permit applications and management
* Assisting and mentoring members of the engineering team
* Assisting with quality and engineering design deliverables for tender submissions
