We are seeking a skilled Assistant Chef Manager to join our team at Dine Contract Catering.
About the Role
The Assistant Chef Manager will be responsible for assisting the Chef Manager in the planning, preparation, and presentation of food and beverages to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Menu Planning: Assist in planning and developing menus that meet the needs of our clients and customers.
* Culinary Operations: Assist in the planning and execution of culinary operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
* Team Management: Assist in the management of the culinary team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
* Inventory Management: Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
* Cost Control: Assist in the management of food costs, including budgeting and cost control.
* Health and Safety: Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment, including compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Qualifications: City and Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
* Experience: Previous experience as a chef or in a culinary management role.
* Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and experience with inventory management and cost control.
