We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Development Executive. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering sales growth.
This role benefits from the opportunity to be home-based, with a split of 50% desk based and 50% field based. With occasional team meetings at our Head Office in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. Alternatively, if you are local to our HQ then there will be a desk space waiting for you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain strong relationships with existing trade customers
· Assisting customers in identifying gaps in their range and recommending suitable products from our extensive product range
· Identifying and targeting new customers through market research. Then contacting, (visiting where applicable) and feeding back information to managers
· Working closely with the B2B manager and team
· Process orders accurately and efficiently using our sales management system, ensuring all customer requirements are met and deliveries are scheduled promptly
· Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations to customers and drive sales growth
Requirements
· Previous sales experience or a business development role in the automotive industry would be ideal, however we would also be happy to consider candidates with general sales experience along with a personal interest in car parts.
· Proven track record of achieving sales and driving growth
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and our teams
· Previous experience of using a CRM along with a good level of PC literacy
· Strong product knowledge of car parts and accessories, and the ability to quickly learn about our product range. Experience, knowledge or passion in Volkswagen, Porsche or Land Rover would be a plus
· Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
