We are looking for a person to support the strategic management of the council’s Transformation and Modernisation agenda.
This is a post within the Corporate Transformation Team, reporting to the Senior Business Change Lead
You will work with Heads of Service and senior managers to develop and deliver the council’s transformation programme, providing guidance, support and challenge to ensure the implementation of corporate priorities.
You will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of service transformation projects and will lead the project management support for these projects, ensuring they are planned, delivered within timescales and deliver the desired financial benefits for the council.
You will identify, lead and coordinate the development of new and innovative corporate and service improvements in support of the council’s commitment to modernise service delivery and deliver efficiencies.
You will be educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline.
You will have a sound understanding of the council’s priorities and corporate strategies that support delivery of the Corporate Plan. You will need highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills as well as proven experience in managing relationships and working efficiently under pressure.
