The successful candidates will work within Street Services providing a Refuse Collection service throughout Bolsover District Council area as Refuse Driver/Loader. In the absence of the Team Leader you will be responsible for an allocated vehicle, including the undertaking of necessary checks required ( completion of Tachograph or vehicle logs) and a regular crew undertaking the removal of all household, industrial and commercial refuse from a variety of locations.
To be successful you will need:
1. Knowledge and experience of undertaking the driving of LGV vehicles and physical works. Experience in the operation of vehicle mounted ancillary mechanical lifting equipment.
2. Ability to sustain high levels of physical output over prolonged periods.
3. Full clean Driving Licence with licence category C.
4. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team whether loading/driving or undertaking other duties.
5. Experience of working to pre-targeted work schedules and to tight deadlines.
