The shift pattern for this position is rotational. We have posts at 37 hours per week full time but are also open to offer part-time hours. Our standard shift pattern is 12 hours, shifts over 7 days, including Public Holidays and weekends. We are to offer flexible shifts patterns out with the standard 12 hour rota. An exciting opportunity for passionate motivated nurses to join our fantastic Orthopaedic team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) has arisen. The Orthopaedic Unit within the RAH delivers a varied range of surgeries for fractures/injuries and elective orthopaedic surgery. The unit itself comprises of 52 Trauma Receiving, 18 Elective beds, Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics and the first Trauma assessment unit within GGC. Our hardworking team has previously been awarded the Golden Hip, which is awarded to the highest overall performing hospital in Scotland for the care of hip fracture patients. You will have the opportunity to work with innovative team members within multidisciplinary environments, and you will work collaboratively across the unit. You will be supported, encouraged, and appreciated within your role. There will be opportunities for enhancing your skills through additional training and development which we offer and encourage. This is supported by our Nurse Educator who will assist you while you settle into your new environment.
