ACS International Schools is currently seeking an Educational Technology Innovation Lead.
This role is responsible for articulating and facilitating delivery of the overall vision, leadership, and execution of educational technology innovation in line with ACS’s IT and Education strategies.
The role focuses on achieving excellence and efficiency in technology integration in ACS schools, supporting and challenging school-based educational technology leaders as a champion for ISTE student, educator, and school leader standards.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Develop and deliver opportunities for professional learning and growth.
· Collaboratively design and develop a vision for effective educational technology integration and innovation.
· Promote digital learning and innovation.
· Work collaboratively with IT systems, infrastructure, people, and resources.
· Lead pedagogical research and development.
Key Functions:
· Manages group educational licenses and subscriptions.
· Maintains the IT service catalogue for educational technologies.
· Coordinates with IT Service Delivery Manager to manage school requests for technology innovation.
· Coordinates and approves group level/ multi-campus Educational Licenses and Subscriptions, maintaining advancing ACS-wide implementation of METIS.
· Consults with and approves requests for new educational technologies (hardware and software).
· Develops, maintains, advances, supports, and trains educators on a standard ACS educational technology toolkit.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
· Demonstrable work experience in educational technology integration.
· A strong understanding of pedagogical principles and instructional best practices.
· Experience in IT budget development and management.
· Proven project management and implementation experience.
· Proficiency in a variety of educational technologies and platforms commonly used in K-12 settings, including AI-powered learning systems, adaptive learning software, and AI-driven analytics tools, coupled with understanding their educational implications.
· Demonstrable experience as a school-based technology leader with deep understanding of school change and technology adaptation.
· In-depth knowledge of technical systems, both in Microsoft, Apple and hybrid ecosystems.
· Excellent organisational, programme, time, and vendor management skills.
· Excellent management and interpersonal skills, teamwork, and collegiality.
Qualifications:
· University degree in educational technology or relevant technical field (preferred), or equivalent.
· A post graduate qualification in Technology and Learning Design, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence or equivalent is highly desirable.
· Teaching qualification, with familiarity of international schools.
This is a permanent, term time only position, working Monday to Friday.
