Account Manager – Exhibitions job in Guildford, Surrey
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + Uncapped commission (£6k – 10k OTE) + Hybrid working + Flexible working hours + Progression
Account Manager job based in Guildford, Surrey, for a multi-award-winning B2B and B2C Events company, focused on the health and wellbeing sector. The role will be selling event sponsorship, digital solutions and event space for their international event portfolio. Having trebled in size in the last 3 years, they are now looking to expand their sales and account management teams further and you will have every chance to progress as they continue to grow. There is also international travel required on occasion to attend events across the globe.
The company was established over 7 years ago, delivering successful events across the UK, US and EU. They are now a team of 40 and promote a flexible and healthy work environment, with designated time out to keep fit and flexible working hours. About the role:
- Selling exhibition space, sponsorship and digital solutions
- Manage all incoming enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Managing and upselling on existing accounts
- Generating new business opportunities
-Managing the full sales process through to close
- Face to face meetings when necessary
- Sales related admin
- Efficient use of the CRM system and accurately inputting data
- Attend competitor and industry events with the requirement to travel both across the UK and overseas.
The ideal candidate:
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in B2B account management or sales
- B2B Media and or event sales experience is preferable, however training can be provided
- Excellent experience in nurturing existing accounts
- Experienced in new business calls
- Consultative sales approach
- A sense of humour!
- Interest and/or experience in the health and wellbeing sector would be an advantage
- Right to work in the UK.
