Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Process matters efficiently.
* Ensure clients are regularly updated and advised at appropriate points.
* Respond efficiently and promptly to queries and correspondence.
* Maintain an adequate filing system.
* Meet the firm’s costs targets.
* Comply with Professional and Accounting Rules.
* Supervise and assist in the training and development of junior members of the department.
* Undertake regular housekeeping in respect of files to ensure billing is up to date and prompt closure of files takes place.
* Have a willingness to engage in networking / raising the firm's and your own personal profile and assist in securing new revenue streams.
Requirements:
* Be a registered Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX); Licensed Conveyancer or experienced practitioner.
* A minimum of 3 years PQE in the relevant area of law or 5 years in the case of an experienced practitioner.
* Be able to work on your own in all aspects of conveyancing.
* Be able to supervise, train, and manage others within the department.
* Be competent and able to advise clients on all aspects of conveyancing law.
* The ability to adhere to and manage deadlines.
* Have good client care skills.
* Have strong IT skills.
