Projects Health and Safety Manager - Bristol
Circa £500 per day (Outside IR35)

Are you a Health and Safety contractor based in the Southwest and ready for your next contract or interim role? Do you have extensive client-side construction experience in high hazardous sectors? If so, this could be your next opportunity with a global company currently seeking a Projects Health and Safety Manager to work on a critical CAPEX project.
The company actively promotes and supports innovations that enhance quality of life. You'd also be responsible for the management of all contractors and seeing through the project to completion.
The responsibilities of the Projects Health and Safety Manager will be:
1. Manage and oversee key new construction projects across the site through to completion.
2. Monitor Key Performance Indicators across projects, identifying areas for improvement and providing solutions to ensure best practice.
3. Provide support to project teams and manage contractors on compliance requirements, site visits, and oversight of 3rd party contractors for health and safety delivery.
4. Provide ad hoc support for safety audits, in line with audit plan and associated protocols, coaching others in audit good practice.
5. Lead and deliver health and safety improvement activity by providing support to the Health and Safety Manager and wider department through delivery of agreed improvement activities.
The successful Projects Health and Safety Manager will have:
1. Experience within construction health and safety on high hazardous projects.
2. Client-side construction experience, extensive CDM knowledge, and managing contractors.
3. DSEAR, ATEX, Chemical Management experience ideal.
4. A proactive and self-motivated approach.
5. Ideally a NEBOSH, NVQ 5, or NCRQ diploma (or equivalent).
6. Membership of IOSH (Grad or Chartered).
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
