The Role:
As a Bid and Proposal Coordinator Apprentice, you will support the business in securing new opportunities by preparing quotations, tenders, and pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs). This apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to develop key skills in bid writing, costing, and proposal coordination while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the preparation and submission of tenders, bids, and proposals.
2. Conducting research to support bid development and proposal writing.
3. Preparing costings and quotations for services.
4. Completing and submitting Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
5. Coordinating bid-related documentation and ensuring accuracy.
6. Supporting the review of contract terms and conditions.
7. Maintaining a database of bids, tenders, and supplier information.
8. Liaising with internal teams to gather required information for submissions.
9. Ensuring deadlines for bids and tenders are met efficiently.
10. Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in bid writing.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A keen interest in bid writing, proposals, and business development.
2. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above (desirable).
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
5. Good numerical and analytical skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Ability to research and present information clearly.
8. A proactive and organised approach to work.

Training and Development
You will work towards a Level 3 qualification in Bid and Proposal Coordination or an equivalent business-related apprenticeship.
