Potter Clarkson is currently recruiting for a talented and ambitious Paralegal to join the Nottingham office of our market-leading cross-office team, which currently comprises 20 IP Lawyers, and support staff. The Role Support work on IP litigation (including trial prep, bundling and case administration and management) & IP transactions (such as licensing, assignments and franchising); Support work on other contractual and strategic advice, and on audits; Advice on structuring IP ownership; Collaboration agreements (both academic and private sector) and joint ventures; Support for broader transactions and due diligence; Business development support, and in particular development of key sectors; Research and writing academic articles. Requirements Must have a "can do" attitude and be a first-class communicator; Must be able to work in an independent and a self-directed manner, but also as part of a team; A meticulous eye for detail; A scientific background would be advantageous, as would experience of working in a professional services environment; Previous paralegal experience, particularly in contentious matters would be desirable; Exceptional academics.
