Title: Therapeutic Carer
Responsible to: Therapeutic Leaders / Registered Manager
About the Company – At Safe Haven Adolescent Care Group, we are an Ofsted Registered company that provides loving homes for children who cannot live with their families. The company has 6 homes that care for only one or two children at a time, all rated 'GOOD' and 'OUTSTANDING' by Ofsted.

About the Role – We require Carers who can support our children in the best way possible. Candidates should be caring, nurturing, resilient, and patient, as the role can present challenges. You must proactively strive to create a safe environment where the children feel heard and cared for. As a growing company, there are many opportunities for progression within Safe Haven to various roles, including Therapeutic Leaders and future Management positions, as well as opportunities to gain qualifications in Level 4 Diplomas and Level 5 Leadership and Management. No experience in Children's Homes is necessary, but relevant experience with children and a positive, nurturing personality are required.
Role Requirements:
Essential – Good general education, including numeracy and literacy skills. Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and complete required training.
Desirable – NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Caring for Children and Young People / Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.
Shift Patterns & Pay Scales – Full-time roles vary, including but not limited to the following examples: 1 on, 2 off including a few sleeps - up to £2,000 per month (excluding sleep payment of £50 per sleep). All shifts are either 24 or 48-hour shifts.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
