Faculty / Directorate We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to join the training team on the Low Intensity Psychological Therapies programme. This programme seeks to offer BPS accredited training for Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners as they develop into qualified practitioners within the NHS Talking Therapies. Choice of modules will focus on assessment for common mental health problems, evidence-based treatments and understanding values, diversity and context for adapting clinical practice. Topics include long-term conditions and effective use of supervision. Role This full-time post is immediately available until 31 March 2027 on a fixed term basis. We anticipate extending the post beyond that point subject to funding. You will have responsibility for the development, delivery and assessment of teaching and learning materials associated with the Low Intensity Psychological Therapies programme and support the development and assessment of clinical competency on this, or related, programmes. You will work with the Programme Leads and the teaching and admin teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in accord with the Faculty’s education strategy. You will also be required to liaise effectively with a range of external stakeholder groups. Ideal Candidate Experience of working in an adult mental health setting delivering low intensity CBT interventions is essential. You should hold a degree in Psychology conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society, OR a degree in a related discipline OR current professional registration with a regulated health or social care professional/statutory body.
