Job Description CPM are looking for a target-driven, ambitious National Field Manager to lead a team of Sales Executives working on behalf of an evolving portfolio of market leading brands within the convenience channel. £38,000 per annum, up to 10% OTE bonus and company vehicle. Ideal location: Birmingham, United Kingdom, B1 This is a national role so applications from outside of the above ideal location can be considered. Territory covering: (National UK coverage) Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Coventry, Leeds, London & surrounding areas. What will you be doing? As our National Field Manager on the Shared Service account, you’ll be leading a team of Sales Executives as they deliver direct product sales and drive, maintain, and exceed distribution targets for our client’s market leading portfolios of amazing products into convenience. As a National Field Manager, your role is pivotal in driving the performance of your managers and their teams: Inspirational Leadership : Lead by example with energy and passion. Inspire your team to strive for excellence and exceed KPIs. Performance Monitoring: Regularly track performance against KPIs. Ensure that CPM performance management processes and frameworks are consistently applied. Coaching and Development: Invest in coaching and developing your team. Equip them with the skills and knowledge to take responsibility and be accountable for achieving results. Empowerment: Empower your team members to take ownership of their individual and collective responsibilities. Encourage them to be proactive in achieving KPIs and improving sales performance. Talent Strategy: Own the talent strategy for your clients. Focus on effective onboarding and staff retention to minimize churn and build a strong, stable team. Transformational Change: Lead your team through transformational change. Communicate the vision clearly and take people with you on the journey to ensure buy-in and successful implementation. Functional Responsibilities: Work with the Account Manager to deliver the client’s convenience strategy through the national field team. Employ strategic planning and a commercial approach to field team ways of working Lead, manage and inspire the field team to execute the client’s strategy and objectives to ensure KPI achievement Work closely with the Account Manager to create innovative ways of working to motivate and engage the national team to adopt a continuous high-performance culture Resource management through recruitment, retention, coaching and development Work in partnership with key Stakeholders to ensure joint alignment of the field strategy Drive continuous improvements, overcoming challenges to provide profitable business solutions to be deployed through the CPM field team to maximise the Return on Investment for client’s Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager What We’re Looking For: Proven Field Management Experience Previous experience in the convenience sector in a similar management role.
