Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity to assist in the development and execution of manufacturing engineering practices within a vertically integrated engineering company. Core Responsibilities: Plan and implement safe, efficient, and repeatable production systems, processes, equipment, and facilities. Collaborate with internal and external teams to solve technical challenges. Determine the methods, tooling, and processes required for manufacturing. Compile manufacturing routings and BOMs within the company's MRP system. Use 3D design software to assist in designing tooling and assembly aids (machined and 3D printed). Produce, update, and improve internal manufacturing specifications. Travel to supplier or customer sites as needed to resolve technical challenges. Estimate manufacturing costs, including both recurring and non-recurring costs. Assist in new product introduction, development, and prototyping to ensure successful manufacturing. Support APQP through FMEA plans, process flow diagrams, and control plans. Research and implement new manufacturing systems (software/technology) to support business growth. Provide technical support to production teams (assembly and machining) during change implementation. Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum HNC qualification. Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment. Understanding of manufacturing and design tolerances for assembly and conventional machining. Some experience with metal treatments or unconventional machining methods. ERP experience. Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD 2D or 3D design software. Experience using process mapping techniques. Ideal Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience in industries that demand precision engineering, such as high-performance manufacturing. Knowledge of welding techniques (fusion, resistance, or laser welding). Experience in technical design and drawing. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles (not limited to filtration). Proficiency with MRP systems. Experience in compiling technical documentation for manufacturing.
