Role Responsibility
Kent County Council is actively seeking to recruit passionate Family Hub Community Development Workers for multiple districts across Kent.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Building and strengthening local Family Hub networks in collaboration with partners and community organisations.
2. Encouraging community engagement and co-design initiatives to develop and inform the Family Hub services.
3. Expanding volunteer opportunities to empower parents, carers, and young people to lead and participate in peer-to-peer groups and other Family Hub activities.
We value skills that foster community empowerment, address inequalities, and encourage active participation.
You will possess a high level of organisational skills and have the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and self-directed. You will also be able to communicate effectively with children and their families, and have the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate effective participation and engagement opportunities.
The Community Development Worker role will be a permanent, full-time role, with hybrid working available.
