Role: National Account Executive
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Location: Lacock, Wiltshire
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Stonegate Farmers is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic National Account Executive to join our growing Commercial Team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, this role involves supporting the management of key retailer accounts, including Morrisons, Tesco, Aldi, and Lidl. With a clear development pathway, this position offers the opportunity to grow into a National Account Manager role, taking full ownership of assigned accounts.

Established in 1926 and under new ownership since 2016, we have grown into one of the largest free-range and organic egg producers within the UK.
Moving millions of mother nature’s most fragile food items every day takes finesse and know how. We work closely with our producers to collect, grade and package each individual egg. We deliver daily from hen houses right across the country to the most exclusive restaurants and to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets, together with first class egg products to some of the biggest names in food manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Assist in managing day-to-day operations of key retailer accounts.
2. Act as the primary contact for administrative and operational queries from assigned retail accounts.
3. Foster strong relationships with retail buyers and other key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
4. Work to understand the needs of each account, providing tailored support and solutions.
5. Analyse sales data and customer performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
6. Monitor account performance against targets, preparing reports and recommendations to improve outcomes.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment of promotional activities.
8. Work closely with the supply chain, marketing, and category teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
9. Assist in coordinating stock levels, forecasting, and ensuring on-time product availability for key accounts.
10. Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to increase sales and expand product offerings.
11. Contribute to the development of strategies to maximize account profitability and long-term growth.
12. Attend customer meetings, contributing to discussions and negotiations.
13. Stay updated on industry trends, retailer dynamics, and competitor activities to inform account strategies.
Person Specification:

3. Good Microsoft and PowerPoint knowledge.
4. Able to work efficiently and within tight deadlines.
5. Demonstrates strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive opportunity from insight and data.
6. Self-motivated.
Qualifications / Experience:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent (ideally within a business management or related subject).
2. Proven experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within the Food or general FMCG sector.
3. Experience with MS Office, particular requirement for strong excel skills/knowledge.
