About the Role: As a SEND Learning Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored assistance for students with learning needs. Your role will involve working with students both one-on-one and in small groups, contributing to a positive and engaging classroom environment. Key Tasks: Assist students with SEND in their learning and development. Help deliver lessons, adapting materials and activities to meet students' needs. Work one-on-one and in small groups to provide focused attention. Help implement Education Plans and Behaviour Plans. Assist students with social and communication skills, building confidence. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should have: A formal qualification in Teaching & Learning (or an equivalent qualification). Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes. GCSE qualifications in English and Maths. A patient, adaptable approach when working with students with SEND. The ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
