Business Development Manager

* Up to £60k base + OTE
We are working with one of the fastest growing scale-ups in the UK who provide an innovative language, translation and interpretation SaaS platform within the Healthcare, Social Care and Local Authorities space.
They are currently hiring their first Business Development Manager! The BDM will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the SaaS product within the NHS and Local Authorities sector in the UK. As this is a new role for them, the ideal candidate will want to be involved, and comfortable, in setting sales strategies and helping to map out the future of the team.
Responsibilities
* Grow the sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets with our target markets
* Develop new relationships with C-suite and senior leaders
* Think strategically and be aware of industry trends and targets’ needs
* Prepare proposals and create formal bids
Requirements
* Over 4 years success in selling healthcare-related solutions, ideally to the NHS and/or local authorities
* Strong network and relationships within the NHS and healthcare provider organisations
* Excellent understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the healthcare sector
* Happy being the first BDM on the ground, knowing that not all structures are in place yet
