Who will you be working with?
As part of the Quality team, you will have the opportunity to join our team at the LH Group (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd) based in Burton on Trent where we support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.
Role: Technical Administrator
Salary: £Competitive
Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00pm and Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm, 37 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time
How will you make a difference?
To be the first point of contact for all technical administration support, which will involve maintaining and updating processes, procedures, technical records and QMS related documentation.
What will your typical day look like?
* You will need to liaise with other departments, such as Projects, HR, Manufacturing, and Engineering, on documentation issues/updates to ensure doc reviews are completed and uploaded on time.
* Lead the updates and maintenance of all documentation.
* Maintain the QMS system ensuring processes and procedures are kept up to date.
* Generate and update technical documentation, such as Engineering updates, specification changes, inspection and build documents.
* Oversee hard and soft document control, including archiving and transfer activities.
What do we want to know about you?
* Previous administration experience.
* Quality experience/background preferred.
* Confident to interact with other departments.
* Be able to understand and interpret processes and procedures.
* Strong skill set in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
* Good attention to detail, be a team player, and must be able to work on own initiative.
