Permanent, Part Time 30 hours per week.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with passion and creativity for working with children to join our well-established residential team working with children with disabilities.
Our service plays a vital role in supporting families to have a break from their caring roles, as well as offering children with additional needs an environment where they are safe to learn new skills, make friends and have time away from their families.
The role will be to support the care and development of up to 4 children/young people away from their family homes, alongside a staff team to cover all hours, in a homely environment.
During your shift, you will be expected to support the children/young people to enjoy activities in the home and in the community, support with the upkeep of the home, and complete some administrative tasks.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Residential Child Care Workers and within the framework of current legislation, you will share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Residential home, ensuring high-quality residential services for disabled children within the overall policy of the Department.
You must be willing and available to participate in a rota pattern, which includes weekend working.
