We are seeking a dedicated Transport Coordinator/Customer Service professional to join a dynamic team based in Stanford-le-Hope. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills, and a strong interest in logistics and transport coordination. The role is a temp-to-perm position, with the potential for permanent employment after the initial temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate transportation schedules and logistics to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
* Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, updates, and complaints efficiently.
* Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operation of daily activities.
* Maintain accurate records of transport operations, deliveries, and customer communications.
* Assist in tracking shipments and resolving any transportation issues that may arise.
* Work closely with the management team to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
Key Requirements:
* Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Previous experience in transport coordination or a customer service environment would be advantageous.
* Organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Ability to use computer systems and software to manage transport schedules and records.
* A proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail.
