Full job description:
A great opportunity has come up with our well-established manufacturing client within their facilities department. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for providing a maintenance service to both the building and printing plant to include Digital / Lithographic / Screen and finishing machinery. Assisting in fault-finding, installations, and repairs.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Provide breakdown response to the Group of Companies.
2. Regular lighting maintenance of all buildings owned by the Group of Companies.
3. Assist with Ad-hoc installation projects.
4. Timely completion of weekly job sheets.
5. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
6. Diagnosing faults.
7. Repairing equipment.
8. Obtaining specialist components, fixtures, or fittings.
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
10. Creating maintenance procedures.
11. Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Maths & English GCSE - Grade 4 or higher.
2. City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate.
3. Qualified to part 1 and 2 City and Guilds for electrical installations.
4. A minimum of 4 years' time served apprenticeship is essential.
5. Experience working on machinery is a necessary skill.
6. General building maintenance experience is required.
